: (1) A separate health fund will be established from the amount collected from the tax levied for the control of production and activities affecting public health.
(2) The fund under sub-section (1) shall have the following amounts:-
(a) Amount received from Government of Nepal,
(b) Amounts received from the State Government,
(c) Funds received from the local level,
(d) Funds received from non-governmental and private organizations (e) Funds received from foreign organizations.
(3) The funds raised according to sub-section (1) shall be spent in the field of public health.
(4) The arrangements related to the operation of the fund established in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
(5) Provisions related to health insurance of citizens shall be in accordance with prevailing laws.
